Hurricane Irma's destructive path was catastrophic. With the massive and record breaking storm bearing down on the Caribbean islands, residents did the only thing they could possibly do - take cover and hope for the best. Unfortunately, properties were destroyed, families were displaced and lives were lost. First and most importantly, we would like to send our deepest thoughts, prayers, and condolences to those that were impacted by this tragedy and would like to let everyone affected, in all areas, know that the LAND Leather family is thinking of them in these difficult and trying times.

The wonderful people of the Caribbean hold a special place in our heart. For over 40+ years the Caribbean and it's people have made us feel at home. They have loved us in a way we could have never imagined and showed us that their brand loyalty is second to none. They gave a small leather goods company in the mid 70's the chance to grow and learn and we owe all of our success to every single one of them. They are the true definition of a #LANDLover and believe us when we say our roots are firmly planted in these Caribbean islands. We have grown with you all, experienced some of the toughest and most challenging times together, but most importantly, we've built a special relationship with the entire region and the amazing people that belong to it. We know first hand how strong, persevering, and committed the Caribbean people are which is why we have absolutely zero doubt every island affected will be able to regroup and rebuild.

The current conditions on these beautiful islands is unimaginable. In some of the hardest hit islands such as St. Maarten, Tortola, St. John, and St. Barts, there are shortages of first aid supplies, electricity, shelter, food and water. Basic necessities are no where to be found. Barbuda has been completely evacuated and not a single person remains on the island. It is now more than ever, that the Caribbean people need our help. Please join us in donating crucial supplies and monetary support to these great people who are in need right now through the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency. Below you can find other organizations providing relief and support to the affected Caribbean islands and surrounding areas. Help us rebuild these beautiful paradises and rebuild the lives and communities of the beautiful people who call them home.
