Alfa 22" Spinner Carry On

Ordered the Alfa Spinner Carry on. The leather is of a high quality, construction is solid and the stitching is excellent. Very well made bag all round except one issue.

The top bands of the two inside pockets are elastic which are too short and are stitched way too tightly to the inside lining. This is causing the bottom of the lining to pull up which will thus surely cause the lining to rip over time.

Called Land Leather and sent in the pictures showing the flaw. Kevin emailed me back stating that flaw is the way it’s supposed to be.

Very well made. Love it. The perfect expensive looking Carry-on... lots of compliments and its just day one!

Good quality leather

I've got the Alfa Spinner and a matching backpack that slips on the spinner handle. I just returned from Maine. A flight attendant came over to my seat to tell me how much she loved my luggage. She said that she sees all the luggage and the LAND is the best looking. It's also tough, durable leather. Great product! The flight attendant looked pretty good, too!

For the price, i think it should have stronger zips. Like metal

I love my carryon. In particular, I like the rich crimson colour. It's different yet made with the consistent craftsmanship LAND has become known for. Smart look.

The luggage is made of very very good leather that will last for many years to come. That’s for making great pieces!

The leather construction is nice. More thought and testing should have been given to the zippers. I’m not certain the products I bought will last long.

I love everything about this product including the packaging

I like my new bag, but it has one annoying fault. The zipper for the main compartment has rings on the sliders. These rings can be aligned and overlapped so they can be locked together. The problem is that these rings interfere with the pull tabs. If you pull the leather pull tab extension in the direction of the ring, the slider will tend to dig in and pinch itself against the tape and stick in place. Then, you have to change your grip and grab the pull tab right next to the slider and finagle it from there. I do not value the ability to put a tiny lock on my bag. I'd much rather have a main zipper that operates properly.

This is my go-to carry-on and weekend car trips. Beautiful, well-constructed, beautifully designed, top quality, and ample storage compartments. The wheels are superb in the spinning movement and operating linear distance across floors. I am so proud to travel with this beautiful piece.

Absolutely love this carry on . In fact I think most travelers love it more than I do . I travel as a part of my job so I’m on a plane almost weekly and I can say the bag has made me some new friends . I’m being constantly stopped by complete strangers telling me they love the bag . The bag itself for me is rugged and can handle the rugged road of travel . One of my best decisions of the year .

I got this luggage as a treat to myself— after traveling with inexpensive suitcases forever, I decided to grab up that special bag I can have as a carry-on to travel in style in retirement. It’s even more spectacular in person. I added the Barbie bag to toss in my personal item and it’s a great slim profile crossover that organizes beautifully to grab important items in a hurry at the airport.

Bought this as a gift for my partner and he absolutely loves it! Gorgeous colour and very well made.

After several months of research and review of nearly two dozen luggage makers, I found and pulled the trigger on Land Leather's Alpha Spinner Carry-On. It ticks all the boxes: full-grain leather construction, size-compliant as a carry-on for the airlines I fly with and nice looking, too. The luggage arrived within the specified time frame, securely packaged. I am impressed with this piece. My only concern, and it has been resolved, is the zipper to open the main compartment is initially stiff as a frozen 2x4. It took so much effort to oipen the main storage space I was worried I'd rip the sliders right out of the zipper teeth. With patience and the judicious application of a few drops of machine oil (like you'd use to lubricate a fishing reel), the dual zipper sliders now open and close fairly smoothly. This stiff zipper issue may simply be part of the manufacturing process. After a few days, it loosened up.

Did I mention this bag is beautiful? It is. Construction looks sturdy throughout. I'll buy from Land again.
