I am just now thoroughly inspecting my product and I’ve noticed that it is missing the LAND embossed signature as shown in the pictures. I am no longer thoroughly satisfied with my product.
So the general appearance of the Sante Fe Letter Pad is nice. I ordered the black and am happy with the outside of it. The monogram is on the inside is almost not visible so not sue I would recommend that to anyone. If you look at the picture I added the monogram is on the left inside cover. Also when you open it up there is some fabrics inside which is a lovely map fabric....however very poor attention to detail as it has been sewn in upside down? Just seems strange to open up the pad and there is a picture of an upside down map? Also for CAnadian customers (as I was) just an FYI there was a COD customs fee. So total Cad with exchange, shipping and customs fee was $185

The monogram can be a bit less visible on black than on other colors simply due to the fact that leather darkens when monogrammed which is why you don't see it as clear as you would on a tan or lighter colored piece. This is my 7th Land Leather purchase, all from the Santa Fe Collection. I really dig the aesthetic of the contrasting leather, smooth and supple as full-grain leather should be. The folio features 9 interior pockets (6 of which are for cards), plus a slot to hold a pen. Fits standard 8.5x11 legal pad. Looks handsomely professional under your arm as you enter a meeting. The compliments are a side benefit.

The item is beautiful. Dislike Monograming. Perhaps there should be a metallic piece for Black on Black. Did not expect embossing. That is probably U didnt see it on briefcase.
