I bought an old Gladstone bag but the shoulder strap was missing. Knowing the brand, I contacted Land and was advised what to buy. It looks really good with the bag and I am happy with it. The person I contacted was very helpful
It wasn’t as wide as my original. And it felt like cheap material. It didn’t feel like leather
I wanted a leather strap with grommets at each end to buckle into my purse like a belt. Clearly I misunderstood the description because the one that came had clips at each end.
Just received my replacement strap, got the larger size in black and I'm so thrilled about it! I searched high and low for a strong yet beautiful leather crossbody strap that could handle a bag filled with heavy camera gear etc. and this fits the bill perfectly. It's well made and I feel confident that the hardware will hold up with the weight. Also comfort is a major factor when traveling with a heavy bag and I do think this strap will perform well in that area! Thanks Land for making high quality leather goods!!!

I made a hand-carved purse for my mother many years ago. I've decided to use it, but the strap was warn through. I ordered a strap and it fits perfectly and looks great. Very nicely made.
I bought this to match a leather purse. It does. Strap is well made, if just a bit short to use as a cross body. Also, swivels would help.

Hi Andrew! Item 8399 does not feature a place to attach a shoulder strap but the one with the correct width to use in any event would be our 074 style.
