The Barbie Bag is an attractive, well-constructed leather bag with the "right" dimensions, but has no volume. It is FLAT. With all of the leather dividers, there is no room for much of anything else. Because of the short zippers, I could only get my wallet in the bag by wedging it in in one particular direction. There was enough room in the second zippered compartment for a set of keys and a pen. But that was it. There was absolutely no room for my phone or any sort of incidentals. The Barbie bag is not designed to be a practical bag for everyday use. It might work for a phone alone but there are better crossovers for that use. Until this bag is given side gussets for volume within the bag, it is of no practical use. I had such high hopes and they were dashed.
I love the Land brand and have purchased a number of items over the years. However this is the first item which did not meet my expectation. The bag is cute however the strap is too long and not adjustable. The fit of this bag will be impractical for someone average. I am 5’11’’.

This is a beautiful bag, and I do love it. It's just too skinny! I put my phone in one pocket and a slim card wallet in the other, and it's done. If each pocket had a 1-inch gusset on the bottom, it would be absolutely perfect.

I probably should’ve looked up the size but this little Barbie purse won’t even hold my wallet. The material looks good but the size is my issue.
I loved this purse, but it was too flat and couldn't fit much in it. It would be perfect as a wallet purse. Leather is wonderful as is the color. I hated returning it.

Hi Randi! Thanks for the review! Just an FYI, our zippers are a tad bit tighter than normal on a brand new item to account for them loosening over time with repeated use.
The smell of the leather was so strong it set off my asthma.

The smell of our all natural full grain leathers are loved by many but in your case, we can 100% understand you could have done without and it may have been too strong. We apologize if that was the case and trust after some use and love, the smell isn't as strong as fresh out the packaging.
