Double-stitched handles with signature X stitching extend to the base, distributing pressure evenly so straps never tear or come undone. Carry it your way: by the reinforced handles, crossbody, or over your shoulder using the removable and adjustable strap. The large zippered main compartment opens fully for effortless packing, while front and rear exterior pockets keep essentials within reach. Interior zippered pocket adds secure storage. Reinforced X stitching at shoulder strap D-rings ensures durability where it matters most. Brass feet protect the bottom from damage on any surface. Crafted in full-grain Colombian vaqueta leather with premium YKK® lockable zippers, signature Mapa Mundi™ interior lining, and high-strength hardware.

This was an excellent purchase. The leather is beautiful, soft and supple with expert craftsmanship going into its construction. Well-packaged for shipping. Yes, and that leather scent is intoxicating when the duffel is removed from the box and a protective dust cover that comes with all Land Leather luggage. I was a bit disappointed the San Fran duffel came without the mapa mundi lining. It is by far one of my favorite features of LAND products. However, my deeper disappointment stemmed from the fact that I may have received a display piece, because one side of the duffel bag looked lighter, as if exposed to light for a period of time.
Otherwise, the quality workmanship that you would expect from a land product is on brand.
Perhaps those products without the mapa mundi lining could be indicated so that consumers know exactly what they’re getting.

Great bag just disappointed it doesn’t have signature lining.
I bought this piece of luggage as a gift for my son. It is a soft, supple, beautiful, roomy leather duffel bag. My only disappointment is that it did not have the signature lining, which was unavailable at the time of my purchase. This disappointment was offset by the fact that he loves his gift!
My husband loves this gift. It is perfect for his short overnight business trips. Nothing like travelling in style.
